There are just five weeks left to nominate an outstanding alumna for the inaugural 2020 Women's College Alumnae Awards. If you know an alumna who deserves to be recognised for their accomplishments, nominate them today in one of the three award categories - https://www.womens.uq.edu.au/alumnae-portal/alumnae-awards/ - Entries close on Friday 28 August 2020. Finalists and winners will be announced and presented at the Alumnae Awards Dinner on Wednesday 28 October 2020.

The Women’s College Women of the World Q&A features a series of industry-related panel discussions twice yearly. Part of the 'Ready to Lead' program, this Women of the World Q&A, will host a panel of representatives in the world of business, commerce and law, who will inspire you with their journeys in their diverse fields. Vale Maureen Aitken

We are saddened to announce that Past Principal of the Women’s College, Dr Maureen Aitken (1991-2008) passed away on Thursday 9 July. Dr Aitken had a very significant influence in the life of Women's College and is the second-longest serving Principal. She had also been Vice-Principal of the Women’s College since April 1990. Dr Aitken held a BA with First Class Honours in French Language and Literature, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and a PhD from the University of Queensland.
