Operations Manager – Diploma Hotel and Restaurant Mgmt

Mr Jeff Sipek was appointed Operations Manager in 1989. He holds a Diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management and is responsible for all matters relating to the maintenance of the College, the general supervision of College’s day-to-day operations, catering, conferences and functions.

Business Manager – Bachelor of Commerce, Finance and Financial Management Services

Elsa joined the College in 2016. She is a chartered accountant with 13 years experience gained in both professional and commercial roles with expertise in project accounting management. The Business Manager is responsible for all the financial matters of College.

Engagement & Marketing Manager

Ms Helen Spurgeon joined the college in 2018 as Engagement & Marketing Manager.

Dean of Learning – B Arts/Business Management

Ms Jessie Demnar commenced as Dean of Learning in 2017. She has a dual-degree in Arts and Business Management and was involved in with The National Association of Australian University Colleges (NAAUC) during her time at The University of Queensland. Jessie co-ordinates the College’s tutorial program, provides residents with academic guidance and assists the Deputy Head of College in the pastoral care of our residents.

Financial Accountant – CPA

Ms Stephanie Stappung was appointed Financial Accountant in 2017. Stephanie has 5 years experience in accounting within Australian and Internationally. She is responsible for assisting the Business Manager in all financial matters of College.

Conference & Events Manager – Ass. Dip. Hospitality Management

Mrs Anne Kuskopf was appointed as Conferences & Events Co-ordinator in April 2010. After working for 8 years as a registered nurse and mid-wife, Anne commenced her studies in hospitality. She has 25 years experience in the hospitality industry, including restaurant and event management at a number of 5 star hotels. Anne also owned a cafe/delicatessen and operated her own catering business prior to commencing at The Women’s College. She is responsible for all matters relating to conferences, events and accommodation bookings and all related enquiries should be directed to her email.

Administration Officer – RGN

Mrs Rhonda Henderson was appointed as Administration Officer in 2011. Rhonda was a registered nurse for 20 years both within Australia and internationally. She is responsible for all general administrative matters in the College. All general enquiries should be directed to her.

Bookkeeper – BIS Information Service

Mrs Edna Kruger was appointed Bookkeeper and Administration Officer in April 2018.  She is responsible for assisting the Business Manager in all bookkeeping matters of College and undertaking the duties of the Administration Officer.
