The countdown to UQ Giving Day is on!
We are delighted to announce The Women’s College partnership with The University of Queensland for UQ Giving Day – a 24-hour online fundraising challenge where you can support a cause you are passionate about.
On Wednesday 15 October 2025, the College community will come together to create opportunities for future leaders through gifts to The Women’s College & Student Club Priority Fund. This fund provides scholarships for students who pursue leadership opportunities in their third year of residency at The Women’s College.
For the 2025 UQ Giving Day, our goal is to raise over $18,000 to help shape the next generation of student leaders – and we need your support to make it happen.

Caitlin’s story
“To receive The Women’s College & Student Club Scholarship in 2025 has been an immense privilege. This generosity not only alleviates financial pressures but emboldens me with the ability to contribute further to my academic studies and the broader community. It motivates me to contribute meaningfully to the College community and to ensure that the legacy of support and generosity continues for future generations. It also reinforces the value of investing in young women’s education, leadership and personal growth. Beyond its financial support, this scholarship is a reminder of the strong network of women and benefactors who believe in the potential of students like me.”
Caitlin Brittain is the Student Club President and received The Women’s College & Student Club Scholarship in 2025.
