Episode 1: The Honourable Penelope Wensley AC

In our inaugural episode, we are honoured to feature The Honourable Penelope Wensley AC, an alumna from 1964 to 1967 and former Governor of Queensland. During her residency, Penelope served as the 1967 Student Club President. She fondly recalls how her role at the College influenced her path in leadership, noting, “College really encouraged people not to be shy about succeeding. I believe those values and principles of reaching for excellence became deeply ingrained in me and set the foundation for my career.”

Episode 2: Sallyanne Atkinson AO

In our second episode, we are delighted to feature notable alumna Sallyanne Atkinson AO (1960). In this episode, Sallyanne discusses how she built confidence and resilience during her time at the College. “I think the challenges for all students in the ’60s was being at the university and really having to be a self-starter. But where Women’s College was so fantastic for us, we could come home here and we could share the challenges.”
