The 2026 Family Night – held last Friday evening – was a vibrant evening of reconnection, community, and live music. This much-loved event featured our very own Women’s band, Dirt Bucket, which performed a variety of songs for just over 250 guests who travelled from far and wide.
The evening featured the announcement of the winners of the Family Night Major Raffle. Almost $6,700 was raised through the raffle for the Alumnae Awards Fund.
We appreciate everyone who purchased tickets, and we thank our wonderful prize donors and coordinators, including:
- 1st prize: A Sydney Harbour catamaran cruise for 12 people, donated by alumna Amanda Johnston-Pell, 2 nights' accommodation in Darlinghurst, donated by alumna Janet Willett, and a $500 Visa gift card, donated by alumna Joanna Harris.
- 2nd prize: A two-night getaway at Gridley Homestead B&B in Eumundi, donated by Gridley Homestead and coordinated by alumna Emily Gordon.
- 3rd prize: Six bottles of premium Champagne, donated by alumna Professor Susan Moloney.
- 4th & 5th prizes: Gorgeous Louenhide accessory collections, donated by Louenhide and coordinated by alumna Dr Margie Bale.
- 6th prize: A family pass to a 2027 Brisbane International session, donated by Tennis Queensland.
