In a first for The Women’s College, the Alumnae Reunion Celebrations and Standing Committee Luncheon were held together at the Back to Women’s event on Saturday 16 July.

This year’s keynote speaker was Councillor Krista Adams, Deputy Mayor and Chair for the 2032 Olympic & Paralympic Games, who spoke about how Brisbane is getting ready for the 2032 Olympic & Paralympic Games.

Alumnae from the Fresher year groups 1952, 1962, 1972, 1982, 1992 and 2012 returned to the College to reconnect, remember and share memories with one another.

The Standing Committee Luncheon acknowledges the Standing Committee, the original assembly of prominent citizens and community leaders who established, promoted and fundraised for The Women’s College from the early 1900s. Named in their honour, this luncheon proudly acknowledges the past efforts of generations of committed College alumnae and friends, while raising funds.
