2023 International Women’s Day
We #EmbraceEquity and discussed why it is important to empower women at our International Women’s Day lunch on Wednesday 8 March.
Our amazing panellists Chloe Langbroek (Alumna 2008 – 2010), Karen McCarthy, Monique Proud and Kristie Young (Alumna 1992 – 1994) discussed topics like gender equality and female representation in leadership positions, how we can create equal access to education for women and girls, and how we can encourage everyone to be allies in the fight for gender equality. Student Club President, Phoebe Lingard, facilitated this discussion.
We were joined by special guests, including those from our fellow Colleges.
The Women’s College thanks our panellists and special guests for their involvement in this special event. We encourage everyone to continue to support and empower women in our communities and networks.
