Commencement Dinner

The College held its Semester 1 Commencement Dinner last Thursday evening to welcome the return of all students to the 2023 academic year.

The highlight of the evening was an address by our guest speaker, Nina Schrinner, Lady Mayoress of Brisbane, who shared her experiences with the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust through supporting local and grassroot charities. One of the key messages was the importance of women giving back, starting early, no matter how small your contribution.

We were also entertained by Second Year Resident Sara Metcalf, who delivered a wonderful musical performance. Sara then represented Women’s at College Idol on Monday 6 March.
