The Women’s College Cultural Formal Dinner is a special celebration to acknowledge and congratulate residents for their commitment to cultural activities throughout the year.

We will be joined by guest speaker Bronte Langbroek (alumna 2011 – 2013) and Cultural Convenor Sophia Ross in an In Conversation.

Bronte is part of the Queensland-wide Hit Network breakfast radio show, Cliffo & Bronte. Based in Townsville, the show broadcasts to 14 different markets in the state, from Cairns to Toowoomba, Monday to Friday from 6am to 9am.

Bronte’s radio tour of duty started in 2012, as a Second-Year Resident at The Women’s College, studying Business Management (and at the time, Journalism). What started as a four-day internship quickly developed into a dedication to remain within the industry for the rest of her career.

Prior to her current role, Bronte hosted radio shows in Canberra, Wagga Wagga and Griffith, and she was the Executive Producer for the Nova 106.9 Breakfast show, Ash, Luttsy & Susie O’Neill. Her radio journey also saw her complete stints in Geelong and the Gold Coast.

Bronte is a passionate Queenslander, having grown up on the Gold Coast and attended Somerset College, before moving to Brisbane and studying at The University of Queensland. She credits her time at The Women’s College as one of the most important components to her personal and professional development. In her spare time, she enjoys online shopping, working out and sleeping (the curse of the 3am alarm).
