About the guest speaker

Amanda Johnston-Pell (alumna 1989 – 1991) is a recognised global leader in business & digital transformation, sales, marketing, brand and entrepreneurship. Her career spans 25 years across US, Canada, APAC and Japan markets in both Executive and Non-Executive roles.

She currently serves as IBM’s Chief Digital Officer and Vice President Digital Sales APAC region.

In 2021, Amanda was the inaugural award winner of The Women’s College Alumna of the Year. She was awarded The University of Queensland’s Vice-Chancellor’s Alumni Excellence Award in 2022 for outstanding leadership in business, and for service to community, education and private diplomatic initiatives.

Amanda is a Member of Chief Executive Women Australia representing Australia’s most senior and distinguished women leaders, whose shared mission is ‘women leaders enabling other women leaders’. She is an active mentor working closely with the next generation of female leaders.

Information for parents of Academic Prize winners and Scholarship Awardees

If parents are  interested in purchasing a gift for their daughter to celebrate their academic/scholarship achievements, please visit our Online Store.  The gift will be wrapped and available for collection on arrival at the College.
